Jordan Brand, MD

Dr. Brand received his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University, School of Medicine in 2017. He also completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Yale School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, and a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Mark Bullock, DPM
Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon
Dr. Bullock is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. He completed his undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Toronto. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, with a residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center and a fellowship at Mon VALLEY Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His fellowship emphasized trauma and reconstruction of the hindfoot and ankle, including Charcot reconstruction and Total Ankle Replacement. He has published research in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Foot and Ankle Specialist, and Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He has co-authored a textbook chapter in Evidence-Based Bunion Surgery. He is also a member of the Faculty at Central Michigan University College of Medicine.

Bryon Chamberlain, MD
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Chamberlain is board certified as an orthopaedic surgeon by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his medical education from the State University of New York at Syracuse. He also completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Chamberlain served as an orthopaedic surgeon in the U.S. Armed Forces prior to coming to Saginaw. Dr. Chamberlain’s career includes academic positions as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Michigan State University and the University of California - Davis Medical Center. His special interests include knee, hip, and shoulder injuries, including arthroscopy and replacement. He enjoys spending time with his family, biking, and mountain climbing.

Adam Cote, DO
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Cote is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He obtained his medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, also completing his residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Cote has special interests in MAKO robotic knee replacement, anterior approach hip replacement, shoulder injuries, knee arthroscopy, ACL repair, sports medicine, and fractures. He is married and has four children. Outside of work, he enjoys weight training, running, hockey, hunting, fishing, and mountain biking.

Brian de Beaubien, MD

Fellowship Trained in Adult Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. de Beaubien is board certified as an orthopaedic surgeon by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. After completing his undergraduate education at Alma College, he attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Blodgett/Butterworth/St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. de Beaubien also completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at Providence Medical Center. His special interests include hip and knee replacement and revisions.

Danielle Duncan, MD
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Duncan's education began with a Bachelor of Science from Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University. Following that, she received her Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University Medical School in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Duncan completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the Michigan State University-affiliated McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She has special interests in total joint replacement, foot and ankle surgery, fracture care, and orthopaedic trauma. Dr. Duncan serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery with Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She is married and has two children, and enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with family.

Lance Freeman, MD
Board Certified Emergency Medicine and Primary-Care Sports Medicine Physician
Dr. Freeman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and received his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Freeman completed his emergency medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center and went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship with Providence Athletic Medicine. He enjoys treating athletes of all ages for acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Freeman is also a member of the physician staff at the Covenant Emergency Care Center. He is a member of the clinical faculty with the Central Michigan University College of Medicine Emergency Medicine residency. He is the team physician for Frankenmuth High School, and also treats athletes from Saginaw Valley State University and the Saginaw Spirit hockey team. Dr. Freeman is married and has two children.

James Jesko, DO
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Jesko received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and completed medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Bi-County Community Hospital and Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Warren, Michigan. He has special interests in sports injuries and arthroscopy, total joint replacement, shoulder injuries, fracture care, and orthopaedic trauma. Dr. Jesko serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery with Central Michigan University College of Medicine. He serves as Chief Team Physician for Saginaw Valley State University and Heritage High School, and is the Chief Orthopaedic Consultant for the Saginaw Spirit hockey team. Dr. Jesko is married and has two children. He enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.

David Lyons, DO
Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Lyons returns to Michigan after completing his residency at University of Pittsburg Medical Center (UPMC) Pinnacle in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After completing his residency, he did a Pediatric fellowship at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Lyons received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and American Osteopathic Association.

Kurt Menapace, MD

Dr. Menapace earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Central Michigan University and went on to complete a Master of Science in Health Education at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Menapace completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Michigan State University-affiliated McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. He has special interests in sports medicine and arthroscopy, total joint replacement, wrist and upper extremity injuries, fracture care, and orthopaedic trauma. Dr. Menapace serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery with Central Michigan University College of Medicine. He is a team physician for Saginaw Valley State University, Saginaw Spirit hockey team, and Valley Lutheran High School. Dr. Menapace has two children. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.

Jeffery Osborne, MD

Dr. Osborne obtained his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He then went on to complete a year of advanced training in sports medicine at the Detroit Medical Center, working with the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. He specializes in minimally invasive, arthroscopic management of sport and activity-related soft tissue injuries of the shoulder, hip, knee, and elbow in patients of all ages. This includes ACL and ligament injuries, rotator cuff and labral tears, and joint instability. He also has an interest in total shoulder replacement and MAKO robotic knee and hip replacement surgery. He is currently a team physician working with the SVSU Cardinals and the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dogs as well as participating in recreational sports and traveling.

Brian Purchase, DO

Dr. Purchase is a 1990 graduate of Michigan State University. He completed his medical training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. His internship was at Michigan Capital Medical Center in Lansing, followed by a three year residency in emergency medicine at POH Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan. He began his career at Covenant HealthCare in 1998 and after sixteen years of clinical and administrative work in the Emergency Care Center, including 5 years as the Medical Director, he opted to augment his medical knowledge by completing a year of specialized training in sports medicine in 2015. His fellowship was affiliated with Wright State University and the Kettering Sports Medicine Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Jacob Stricker, DPM

Dr. Stricker completed his Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency at Central Michigan University Education Partners. Dr. Stricker received his doctorate of podiatric medicine degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
