The Covenant HealthCare Foundation held the 6th Annual Covenant Kids Gala on Friday, October 9, at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw!

The Covenant Kids Gala is a black-tie affair featuring musical entertainment, a four-course meal, festivities, and fellowship to raise awareness and funding for Covenant Children’s Hospital. This year’s Covenant Kids Gala will celebrate the stories of lives impacted by the compassionate expert care teams.

Funds raised at this year’s event will purchase an ArticSun™ for the RNICU. This specialized equipment uses targeted therapeutic hypothermia for newborns who experienced a lack of oxygen before or during birth. It uses soft, water-filled pads to carefully lower the baby's body temperature, giving their brain a rest and helping prevent permanent brain damage. As treatment progresses, the machine slowly and safely warms the baby to a normal temperature.

Making a Difference for Our Tiniest Patients

Funds raised at this year's Covenant Kids Gala will help purchase an Arctic Sun™ device for the Covenant Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU). This specialized technology provides targeted temperature management for newborns who experience oxygen deprivation around the time of birth, helping protect their brains and reduce the risk of long-term neurological injury.

Thanks to our generous Gala supporters, the Covenant care team will have an important tool to provide advanced, life-changing care to our tiniest patients, giving them the best possible start to their stories.
