Join Covenant HealthCare Foundation for the 5th Annual Covenant Kids Gala on Friday, October 10, at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw!

The Covenant Kids Gala is a black-tie affair featuring musical entertainment, a four-course meal, festivities, and fellowship to raise awareness and funding for Covenant Children’s Hospital. This year’s Covenant Kids Gala will focus on the Covenant Regional Intensive Care Unit (RNICU), celebrating 50 years of quality care for infants.

Funds raised at this year’s event will purchase a RetCam for the RNICU. This specialized digital camera is used to capture high-resolution images of a premature infant's retina. It's an essential tool for ophthalmologists to screen for and monitor Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), a disease that can lead to vision loss or blindness if not detected and treated early.

Celebrating 50 years of the RNICU

For half a century, the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU) has been dedicated to providing life-saving care to the most vulnerable newborns. What started as a vision has grown into a state-of-the-art facility, giving thousands of premature and critically ill infants a fighting chance at life. This milestone marks not only 50 years of innovation and excellence in neonatal medicine but also the unwavering commitment of the medical professionals who have made a profound impact on families across the region.
