Why did I choose Covenant HealthCare: I completed one of my P4 rotations at Covenant and really enjoyed my experience, so I decided to apply here for residency. I appreciated the size of the hospital (not too big or too small), availability of unique rotations, and the presence the pharmacy department has throughout the institution. During my rotation as a student and throughout the interview process, it was evident to me that all the preceptors were passionate about their respective areas of practice and the growth of their residents. I chose Covenant because I knew that it would provide me with a variety of experiences and support from preceptors that would help me grow as a new grad and pharmacist.

Why did I choose Covenant HealthCare: I chose the PGY-1 residency program at Covenant because of its diverse selection of clinical rotations, led by knowledgeable and experienced preceptors who are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. I was able to experience this culture firsthand through my time as an intern and student in the Covenant pharmacy and knew that I wanted to continue to be a part of the team as a resident. I am looking forward to the year ahead and all of the opportunities that come with being a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at Covenant.

Hometown: Bay City, MI

Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Spending time with my family and friends, reading, working out and watching sports (football (Go Lions), baseball and volleyball)
