Job Shadowing
Are you interested in the healthcare profession? Would you like to learn more about what it takes to work in the healthcare field? If so, Covenant HealthCare’s job shadowing experience is for you.
Covenant’s Job Shadow Program allows you to experience what it’s like to work in the healthcare field alongside one of our extraordinary staff members. You will spend approximately two to four hours shadowing a healthcare professional. They will provide you with insight that can assist you in selecting your future healthcare career.

There are opportunities for both clinical and non-clinical job shadows. Opportunities for high school students are available.
Clinical Experiences
Covenant Regional Thumb Network Clinical Experience
Covenant offers unique clinical opportunities for Covenant Regional Thumb Network partnering hospitals. Employees of our partnering hospitals have the opportunity to spend several hours working alongside a healthcare professional at Covenant HealthCare in your clinical area of interest. We are committed to assisting you with this hands-on clinical experience through our partnership with your CRTN hospital.
This opportunity is open to current employees of hospitals within the Covenant Regional Thumb Network.

Licensed Provider Proctor/Training Request
For those providers (physicians/APPs) visiting Covenant to administer or receive proctoring and/or training by another Licensed professional provider.

Students seeking a clinical rotation or an extended internship lasting more than one day should contact CMU Medical Education Partners at cmedgme@cmich.edu for placement.
Internships

Covenant HealthCare partners with colleges, universities, and training institutions to provide clinical and non-clinical rotations. A signed agreement between your school and Covenant is required.
Clinical Internships
Schools are responsible for submitting a formal rotation request through ACEMAPP. If approved, all ACEMAPP training and requirements must be completed prior to the start of the clinical rotation. You will have to work with your school to apply for a clinical internship.
